Formed in Cambridgeshire, England, at the beginning of 2003, The More I See are an original Thrash Metal 5 piece.

In January 2008 TMIS signed to Transcend records to release their 2nd album “The Unholy Feast” Produced by STAMPIN’ GROUND guitarist SCOTT ATKINS and band guitarist GIZZ BUTT .The album was mixed by Metal legend ANDY SNEAP who amongst others has mixed MEGADETH,
TRIVIUM
, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and ARCH ENEMY.

Each band member has grown up with varying musical influences surrounding them and wanted to form a band which created the sound of the earliest thrash metal bands fused with some melodic might and strong powerful and meaningful lyric. Chad and Lee were old school friends playing an ALICE IN CHAINS influenced sound. Gizz Butt a Peterborough guitar teacher and Gavin had returned to their thrash roots after a USA trip with drummer Spike Smith playing in the ENGLISH DOGS.

Gizz is known for playing with THE PRODIGY between 96 – 99 when they were at their peak and the English Dogs from 1984 when they were the first UK band to fuse Metal and Punk together to create their version of the thrash metal sound. Before long Spike joined the band and he and Gizz went on to form WARDANCE another step towards the sound that The More I See make today. Lee and Gav began playing with Gizz in his band JANUS STARK who were signed to EARACHE records home of CARCASS.

The More I See released their first album on SPV records home to KREATOR and received rave reviews in KERRANG and METAL HAMMER. With every member contributing to every aspect of the band they have a sound so driven , so focussed and so shamelessly fanatical the 2nd album is described by Metal Hammer as “A gleaming modern Metal monster and a must have for fans of enormous riffs and memorable tunes.

Influenced by such bands as METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, EXODUS, SLAYER, MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, AT THE GATES, VOI VOD and TOOL to name a few, this band has something that the world has been crying out for - a CLASSIC METAL sound!

And now ... The More I See released their new album ʼThe Unholy Feast on 2 June 2008 through Transcend Records!!...... The album, described by Metal Hammer as ’a gleaming modern metal monster’, was produced by Scott Atkins (ex-Stampin Ground) and Gizz Butt and mixed by the metal master Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Trivium, Machine Head).

We are happy to announce that Peter Ellis (vocals) and James Cluer (bass guitar) are the newest members of The More I See! The band is now more driven, determind and sounds better than ever! This is a new chapter in the history of the band and we are all very excited about it. James is an amazing bass player with a killer voice and stage presence to match and Peter, who has often been described as 'one of the best Metal frontmen to come out of Britain in the last 20 years' brings a whole new level of intensity and charisma to the band's sound and live shows! You simply HAVE to watch this line-up live!!!
